Proper Cleaning and Care for a Waterproof Mattress Protector:
1. Gentle Machine Wash: Wash separately in cold or lukewarm water (30℃–40℃) using a neutral, bleach-free detergent to avoid chemical damage to the waterproof layer.
2. Avoid Fabric Softeners and Bleach: Fabric softeners reduce the fabric's absorbency, and bleach can damage waterproof backings such as TPU/PEVA. Always check the detergent formula before washing.
3. Low-Temperature Tumble Dry or Air Dry: If using a dryer, set it to a low temperature and tumble dry with other clothes. Hanging to air dry is recommended to maintain the waterproof layer's elasticity.
4. Do Not Iron or Dry Clean: High-temperature ironing can melt the waterproof layer, and the solvents commonly used in dry cleaning can also weaken the waterproof performance. Avoid these steps.
